Ardú Apprentices

Ardú Apprentices for 2017 were chosen following auditions at Dundalk Institute of Technology. Eight talented singers were selected to work with Ardú throughout the year. This exciting opportunity provides the students with an insight into professional performance practise. As part of their appointment, the Apprentices will join Ardú on a number of projects:

  • A performance of Allegri's Miserere at City Hall Dublin (Part of MusicTown Festival 2017)
  • America: NOVA concert performance at St Nicholas Church in Dundalk
  • Act as volunteers at the Irish International A Cappella Festival
  • Lead workshops at An Táin Arts Centre as part of Ardú's SingALONG primary school programme
  • Take part in a CD recording due for Christmas release
  • Perform as an ensemble at the annual 'Ardú & Friends' Christmas concerts

As well as this, the Ardú Apprentices will receive individual coaching and advice from Ardú's professional teachers and performers, helping develop their own skills.
